The exclusion of the process?

I live in Florida and my main residence in the verge of going into foreclosure. My wife is in Scripture, but not in the note. When I took over the mortgage, signed allowing 2nd mortgage on our house, but never signed the mortgage. Will it affect it (credit or otherwise)?

Your wife is free and clear of foreclosure from the bank if the note is (part of the mortgage). Being listed in the mortgage and the promissory note is simply to recognize the lender as the lien holder first that super-cedes its own interest in the property.
