1099 and tax question?
I realized that many people are sending false information about 1099 and the amount owed on executions after that sells for less. If you do not know, George W. Bush passed a law on 20 December, which was on the front page of almost every newspaper saying that the debt contracted on a short sale or foreclosure and a 1099 should not be because of the housing crisis until December 31, 2009. Tell me if you answer wrong, only positive favor.
As I have understood, short sales before January 2008 will not be covered by this legislation.
