Home Foreclosures Washington Dc
What is the status of my security deposit after my car was not possible?

I can rent in Washington DC. I went into my contract lease of June 1, 2009 with a $ 2,000 deposit guarantee and deposit another $ 1,000 pets (the rent is $ 2,000 per month). On July 14 I received a notice that the condo can be in a state of foreclosure (it was a lawyer application meant for the owner, but the resident I have it now). Today I came home to find the property is in fact foreclosure. My question is, can I return the security deposit? I only live in place less than 45 days, I think the owner went into a year-long lease knowing that it would not be able to fill. What are my options, a resident DC?

You get it back (not the company) after moving, as before, and the owner, not the bank. You may have to sue him for if you go over the limit of time.

Save the dream, foreclosures in America
