Can a bank require me to pay the difference into foreclosure in the state of Arizona?

If I had a house in foreclosure …. Let's say the house was sold for $ 50,000 and had $ 70,000 owed, would have to pay $ 20,000? Please do not reply if you do not know the laws corresponding to the state of Arizona. This law varies from state to state. Thanks:)

You do not have the deficiency report as income on your taxes. That has been the law for a couple of years. I'll post a link that has a wealth of information that I think very few people facing foreclosure are unaware. Not mentioned specifically Arizona, but could still affect you for many years. You should contact a lawyer to get the right answer.
