Home first loan with the VA, reserving a little confused about the way forward?!?
We have been pre-approved for VA mortgage loan. Now I'm looking for a house and I wonder how much of a pain of a foreclosure or short sale will with VA. I know that VA has its stipulations closing costs, and the condition of the house. So I see a lot of seizures / selling with a list of things that often contradict with the VA as they will not solve everything, it is necessary to VA. Banks tend to be flexible to change some of these things? Or am I better to avoid short sale / implementation foreclosure because they tend to grow over time and probably in conflict with the requirements of VA? I have no real estate agent, however, I'm taking a trip this weekend to see some places. We're from San Diego to the region Phoenix. I just wanted a better idea of what I am getting.
