Abandoned property, how to know if your sales?
There is a large vacant lot next to my house. The royal houses collapsed, the only remains is a giant field of mud and weeds. Has been so for nearly 3 years, is supposed to be the owner of condominiums, but seems to have lost contact with the reality. We wondered where we were going to see if this lot is for sale or in foreclosure? Mind you live in Chicago (the real city) if that helps. Thank you!
Contact your tax assessors office and ask who is the owner. Email this institution a letter in which you are interested in purchasing. See what happens from there.
