Adjustable Rate Mortgages or ARMs have been the cause of the rate of foreclosure huge that we see in our country. As the economy took a turn toward the worst thing they did these types of loans. They began to rise making it harder and harder for homeowners to pay their monthly payments. Florida has become one of the worst states for foreclosures. Executions in Florida have been on the increase since 2005.
What is the government doing Florida Home for Foreclosures?
Since gas costs nearly $ 4 a gallon, which has caused skyrocketing prices of food and almost everything else arises, many people have found it difficult to survive and make your monthly mortgage payment. Bush tried to create a plan that would allow one million homeowners to use tax-exempt bonds to avoid foreclosure, but as with everything Bush has tried has not worked. This leave the government out of it and have done nothing to help the citizens of Florida who are facing foreclosures.
Did you know that over 30,000 properties in Florida are now facing to foreclosure? The foreclosure rate in Florida increased by more than 7.5% from January to February. One in every 254 households in Florida is facing some type of exclusion and the worst area, Fort Myers, is as high as 1 in 86 homes.
There is hope though
Governor Tallahassee, Charlie Crist, is working on developing a plan called HOPE which is scheduled to be completed this August. This plan will help consumers avoid foreclosure mortgage and will help prevent homebuyers new mortgages that are bad for them and bad for the economy. The idea is to help those who have properties that others can buy a property correctly and help stimulate the economy in Florida.
The governor is trying to get to the bottom of foreclosures Florida and find a solution. It is time that more governors and more states began to develop plans to help the foreclosures in their areas. Florida Executions are not the only ones there and the great characters of the other 49 United States of America needs help too.
