Can I reschedule a court date of exclusion?
I have a schedule foreclosure hearing 2/19/09. I like to keep my home, I called Chase Home Finance (Mortgage Company) often speaks homeowners dept. and requested a loan modification or other such aid could give me what I can keep my house. I would like to hear from you if there is a way I request to reschedule my court date to a later date in order to gain more time to solve this problem with my bank? and how long they can delay? Thanks I appreciate your help! and How do I do? What do I put on the application?
You can ask, but that does not mean it will happen. The Master in Equity's office handles foreclosures. Different county have different procedures for requesting continuances. You'd have to see what theirs is.
