Foreclosures Dayton
Foreclosures Dayton
Today the sheriff along with an appraiser came to appraise my house..(I rent I dont own) and she told me..?
The house was in Foreclosure.. Like i said this just happened today so Im shocked!! Im in Dayton Ohio by the way.. As of right now I really dont have enough money to up in move that fast and the landlord has still been collecting rent even though he doesn’t own the property anymore two questions
1.) Is there a number I can call to get some financial assistance Im on disability and have alot of health issues.
2) Is there a site where I can find out exactly how much time I have the lady told me they usually give 3 months but some people only got 3 weeks to get up and move
Any advice or comments will be helpful thanks in advance
In foreclosure doesn’t mean a done deal yet. Your landlord is still the owner but if he isn’t paying the mortgage he won’t be much longer. The buyer will have to order you to move and go to court to evict you if you dawdle. Normally, the process is civil, the buyer might offer you “fees for keys” to go or might be willing to continue the present rental arrangement because nothing is selling and it is better to have a tenant than an empty house. Just to be safe, you might start looking for somewhere else before it becomes a big issue.
