Can my mortgage script be saved? (Canada)?
I am in default with my mortgage due to a heart attack a few months ago could not return to work and not eligible for disability – I am physically fit to work, but there are no jobs around 50 per person. I received the letter non-payment of arrears to provide nearly $ 6,000. We can not get the money right now. How can we get out of this mortgage and credit minimize damage. The mortgage was 100% financing so there is no equity for the second mortgage. What are my options? Staying at home and let the foreclosure process to continue forward (I say that is 6 months to 2 years?) Does a Quit Claim work in this situation.
