We report bk .. money is still ours Escrow?
We declared bankruptcy and went over a year ago. Implementation a mortgage on the property has also happened. We moved to the propery also almost a year ago. We recently received a letter in the mail from the company insurance had insurance through private home saying they were canceling the bc home premium has been vacant … then a couple of days later received a check from them for the amount remaining for the year premuim. Is this money actully ours to keep? Or should it be actully back to the mortgage company? I think the balance of the escrow account was negative .. that is, whether any insurance or taxes were paid, the mortgage company would have been it did … but check the were sent here and made us ….. I do not want cash, and spend this money if you will need it again.
not literal and practical. YOU do not volunteer the amount of the check. at least, who paid insurance premiums that nobody else did. For that reason, without knowing other things, I would say that money is yours. and did not fill out false documents to get it. The saved.
